Marc,

That does seem light for a chain, BUT, I would caution
you against running that chain too tight. If it is too
loose, you have some driveline snatch, but if it is
too tight, you risk premature wear on the output
bearing, among other things. A long time ago, in a
galaxy far far away, I had a 72 Honda CB-350. My first
road bike. Being too cheap to replace the chain when I
should have, I ran it a bit too tight. Over stressed
the output bearing...Oil leaked out of the engine
while I was on the freeway. Welded the motor into one
solid piece, and that was the end of that bike. Surely
you dont want the same fate for your Daytona. Buy a
new chain...
