Digging up an old thread: Has anyone tried or purchased the Sidi

Since I seem to fall between two Euro sizes, that adjustment may do the
trick. Tried to check some out at a local gear shop, but they only had
boots for giants.

I read a favorable review in either Rider or MCN, but then promptly
moved to Texas and left the mags in NH with the wife.

Thanks,

Well I used to wear Sidi's pretty much exclusively since I have a very very wide and large foot (try 3E or 4E width, 11.5 to 12.5 in dress shoes). I have had good luck with their sizing and durability, but not with replacement parts.
It sucks to have another wise perfectly good pair of riding boots sidelined because you have worn the toe sliders through, or cracked the heel armour and the parts are on back order for another month or two.

So I tried the new alpinestar smx-5's and I love them.
They seem to be as comfortable as the Sidi's and parts are available through Tucker rocky so they should be pretty easy to source.

How small is your foot.
