This is actually the time of year I fear riding the most. The bucks  
are trying to avoid being shot by the local hunters and only one  
other thing occupies their mind at this time of year. Let's just say  
the hormones sort of drain their thought process of what little  
intelligence deer normally possess.

As they used to say every week on Hill St. Blues, if you live in deer  
country, "Let's be careful out there."
