Franz,

My Chase Harper, and most soft luggage I have seen have rear straps that
loop around the rear turn signal stalks (with quick release buckles), and
front straps that loop around the pillion foot rest brackets (also with
quick release buckles), so they are held fast front and back.  Autobahn,
Schmatobahn, (Die Deutscher gehen nicht so schnell wie die Italianer!!!!)  I
cranked the ST up to 145 mph in the middle of Wyoming and the bags didn't
budge!!!!
