New Suspension & Cycleworld

First, I got my first hour on my bike since Richard arranged for the
Racetech forks and cartridge emulators to be installed. The biggest
difference I noticed (on some not so twisty roads) is that when I
released the throttle to set my entry speed for a corner, the front end
did not dive nearly as much as before. Also, any of you who have riden
a Daytona know that it corners like it's on rails, but it is also a
fairly bumpy ride otherwise because the suspension is so stiff. The way
my ST is right now, I get more of the "rail" feeling, but it still
absorbs enough of the bumps so as not to be really annoyingly bumpy.
Hope my amaturish evaluations helps anyone who is considering this mod.
Perhaps Richard can phrase this better later ;-)!

The Bike Show was great! As I said, the Futura didn't float my boat, but
the roulette green Tiger certainly did! The pink Triple Speed is
beautful, as is the blue one, but I wouldn't own the pink because it
would be too stereotypical. I also like the new blue Daytona, but the
silver still remains my favorite. . . . The Bonnie is a beauty. Can't
wait to hear her hum!

If you get a chance to visit the show do so! Triumph also has a great
selection of gear in the truck. We had just ordered me the paddock
jacket (one with the checkerboard and Triumph across the back) or I
would have acquired it there.
