Re: ST ergonomics

David,

I haven't noticed any increase in weight on my wrists. The seat cowl won't
fit over the passenger portion of the seat because it is both wider and
thicker than the stock seat.

I'm going to send my stock seat off to Sargent to have them modify the front
portion of the seat only, so that I can still use my seat cowl, which I
really like to use when riding solo.

Couple of other points I forgot to mention about the Corbin: first, it
weighs at least twice as much as the stock seat and it doesn't have the
little cut-out on the bottom to hold your tool kit; and second, the seat is
a lot firmer than the stock seat due to the denser foam used. What this
means is that when you first sit on it, it feels as hard as a board, but
after a long day in the saddle I have absolutely no discomfort in my butt.

But, again, Corbin seats aren't for everyone. Anyone attending the Rallye
is welcome to swap seats with me on one of the rides so that they can get a
good idea of how the seat feels to them.

Regards,

Paul
