    Remove the calipers from the bike, clean the visible part of all
pistons with brake cleaner and an old toothbrush, then pump the pistons
out about a centimeter, one at a time, and clean the exposed part.  Push 
the pistons back in and replace on the bike.  Don't forget to put the
pads back in ;-)

    This sounds like a different problem to mine - air in the system or
maybe old fluid?
