Thanks Juan, that's *very* helpful!
I was talking to a friend of mine last night who runs his own
business supplying parts for Meriden Triumphs and building race engines;
he concurred that it sounds like a problem with the seals - possibly a
mismatch between the piston material and the seal material.
Does anyone know what material the Sprint ST, Sprint RS and 955i
brake pistons are made of?
