The document that you sign to get the loaner states that you are providing
your own insurance and any claims will be made against it. However, with
the sue happy mentality of the US, I'm sure Cal BMW is just doing a basic
CYA. Can't say I blame them. It would probably just take one case of some
one hurting themselves and blaming the dealer and the dealer would ask
themselves, "Why are we providing loaners at all?"

Since I used to have my Suzuki Katana serviced in Gilroy, which is a 30
minute drive one way, I know what a hassle it is to have to round up
someone to help drop of and pick up a bike left for service. So when I
found out that Cal BMW has loaners, I was estatic.
