[ST] how to degrease foam?
- Subject: [ST] how to degrease foam?

So, after discovering my oil leak earlier this week, I took all the
bodywork off the bike tonight and degreased the engine. All went well,
except that the bike must be losing more oil than I first thought, as
the level barely showed on the sightglass <gulp>. Anyway, I'll top it
off in the morning, start it up and see where it leaks from. Hopefully,
it's just a matter of tightening up some bolts, as I'm going on a trip
to Austin (about 200 miles) this weekend and would like to take the
bike.
Anyway, I noticed that the foam inside the bodypanel on the left side is
just soaked with oil. What's the best way to clean this? I was afraid
to use engine degreaser, in case it might cause the foam to deteriorate.
Maybe dishwashing soap and water?
Laters,
Brian
