You might want to look at the Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket. I looked at one
yesterday at a local shop: double mesh construction with body armor where
its needed. I live in Florida and a guy in the shop had one and said he
loves it in the hot weather here. Shop price was $140; www.epowersports.com
has them at $99--but I am not sure if that is the "2002" jacket, which is
apparently the latest. Good luck.
