[ST] Another update

Hi folks,

I thought I would give a little update on my bike & my attitude.

First off, I switched dealers.  The guys at Sharer Cycle Center in Verona WI
stepped up and said whatever it takes.  They would make sure I had a bike to
ride if mine was out of service.  It's a two hour drive now but what can you
do?

The fix was interesting to me and I would appreciate any comments about this. 
Triumph Tech. Services reccomended installing the high performance tune (my ST
is 100% stock).  They did and then the two mechanics there put about 30 to 40
miles each on the bike and reported no problems.

I have put a couple of hundred miles on it now and it seems fine.

What's up with this?  Why should the high performance tune work on my bike
better than the regulars ones?  Should I question this?  To me it still seems
like there is a problem and the the different tune would just be covering it
up.

All of my complaint letters to Triumph were returned to me (as I posted before)
and I have just collected them all, added another page and sent them off to the
right address.

I'm going to wait out the summer & see how the bike runs & see how Triumph
responds before I decide about the lemon law claim.  I really hope they come
back to me with a "what can we do to keep you as a customer" attitude.  Then
maybe I could work something out in terms of a trade or credit for service etc.
etc. Much of what I do will hinge on this response

So that's where I'm at.  I'll stick with it for a while longer  (does that make
me co-dependant?) & hope for the best.
