Re: [ST] Had to have those bars in my hand

I had a similar experience last evening, I just had to ride! Out to the
shed at 7 PM, pulled the choke, and that 500cc single fired right up.
Popped her into reverse, a small wheelie on engaging forward, and it was off
to the crabgrass!! I kept her wide open for 90 minutes, never letting up
thru wild 360 turns, neck- snapping reversals, and steep hill climbs...that
Cub Cadet is an awesome ride!
I'm staying with the recommended Cub dino oil, the synth is just too pricey,
based on 1,000 hour changes. As for tires, I'm getting pretty good life out
of the "Full flotation mondo tread" rears, albeit a bit of flat- spotting
across the center of the tread, and I expect to get at least another 234
mows from the fronts- they are cupping a bit, but a couple of extra weights
on the front axle should solve that problem. I am having a small problem
keeping the cup holder well stocked, however....

BTW, shorts and a T shirt are required apparel, but in the interest of
safety, I did go with the ear protection- that Kohler motor has quite the
voice!
