Rick,
Thanks for the information. It seems that the 17 tooth
sprocket won't make too big a difference in the RPM or
mileage; I usually get about 48MPG, on average, up here.
I hadn't considered that there would be a difference in
chain noise, as I wasn't aware the stock sprocket was
damped; that might make me think twice...
