Yep.  I think it may have been rage, and the fact that we were only going
65mph.  I was looking for a right turn coming up and knew I shouldn't go
much faster or risk losing some of the group.  He admitted to me that the
Norton was not liking the steady pace and he just wanted to wring it out a
bit (but that's a crappy excuse to leave us).  I guess all tempers rise on a
daylong group ride.
