[ST] parts wear

With the talk of chains and wear, I realized that mine needs replacing 
once again, but not only does the chain need replacing, both sprockets, 
tires coming to an end, brake pads at their last grip and oil will soon 
need changing again.  Is it just me or do parts seem to wear out all 
around the same time every time.  I know I'm not one to do everything as 
scheduled and try to push every part to it's limits (cheap bas***d), but 
the cost of replacing everything at once is a killer.  Just curious to 
know if everyone else has this happen.  Wouldn't be so bad if the 
wear/cost was spread out.  Seems to be the same on all six bikes, 
everything wears out at the same time.  Oh, ya... I'd run over a rodent 
before I tried to evade, unless it is an animal that is large enough to 
cause damage to the bike.  Ran over a yappy little dog with the commando 
a couple years ago.  Didn't enjoy it, but it was either wreck or kill, I 
chose to kill and I'm not ashamed of it.  God I hate feminist type people.
