RE: [ST] How to park a Honda inside a VW

At the Westville police station in Durban, South Africa, there used to be a mangled engine block set in a concrete base.

The plaque explained that it was the only remains of a motorcycle which ploughed into a bridge support at such a high speed that they were never able to determine the identity of the rider or bike. Most of the rider and bike were obliterated in the impact and fire.

It seemed to be an six cylinder, probably a CBX1000, but it was too mangled to be sure.

On another note : I once told the brother of a friend - Chris - that if he carried on riding and showing off the way he was he'd come unstuck. A week later he rode His CB750K into the back of a truck at speed - I've been feeling bad about that ever since - wondering if I had tempted fate.

ride safe,
