Yes, you should replace your helmet a minimum ever 10 years. Not just
the shell but the inside will break down due to exposure to sweat, gas
fumes and be come compressed from use. An auto series that I participate
in will only allow you to go back one snell rating. Now that Snell
2005's are available you will no longer be allowed to participate with a
Snell 95 lid.
