Re: [ST] Z6's



I guess my main comment was on 1,500 miles on the original tires...  I
managed to get 4k on mine, with about 1500 of that two-up fully loaded. 
I think that 4-5k out of a rear ST tire on our bikes is acceptable.  I'd
like to get a little more, but still want the grip that these tires
give.

I find his tire mileage about normal, except for the front. I have
never gotten near 8k mile from a front. I use the usual sporttouring
tires: Z4, Z6, Pilot Road, Avon, Dunlope 220, and BT020.
I don't know what he is running. But I run 36/42psi; never two up;
usually too much stuff, but not fully loaded. I ride a combination of
commuting and country backroads. Around my area of California many of
the backroads have been chip sealed and are very hard on tires.
