I'm not sure this statement is correct.  I've found that even after
shipping, it's cheaper for me to buy from lilley's than locally (I hope
this doesn't start up *that* debate again  :b )  

Keep in mind that whatever price you (as someone in the US) see on the
JL website includes a VAT, so it's higher than what they'll charge you
in the US.  And also you usually don't have to pay state sales tax.

Of course, I also bought a JL membership card, which gets me a further
10% discount.
