I have just requested the RAM Handlebar mount from
http://www.cycoactive.com/gps/gps_mounts_ram.html#gr3h with a view to using
longer allen bolts on the clutch lever mounting and putting it there.  The
other way shown, on the ST at least, is to use the tank bolt so I have
ordered one of the diamond bases just in case.

I shall initially use the aux power socket on the ST but maybe hard-wire it
in later by piggy-backing onto the aux wiring.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Still got a problem with the waterproof mount for the PC and the HUD
projector ;-)
