[ST] Shiny new ST question

Easy: As any fule kno, it was anti-gravity blue, which
was why it could be picked up and ridden off without a
£1,600 bill for fairing panels, silencer, footpegs,
mirror, brake lever, fairing subframe etc. And how do
I know this? Suffice to say that in my experience,
the black paint tends to absorb gravity waves, rather
than repel them. Especially when emergency braking on
cruddy road surfaces. But the local council did the
honorable thing and paid up. Especially when I
mentioned stuff like "breach of common law duty of
care" and "strict liability for breach of statutory
duty under the Highways Acts".
