I got the following form Wayne McDonald at TuneBoy.  I think it is quite
appropriate to the discussion.

If you have a look at the "Links" page on the TuneBoy site, select the top
one. He has done two 02 speed triples (same motor as the sprint).
This next link shows before/after, before is Triumph sports tune, after is
TuneBoy modified tune.

The difference in results between the two speed triples is because of a
change Triumph made in cams during the 02 model year.
