[ST] East Coast Rally

I get down to the Asheville area around 3 to 4 times a year.  There is a
good motel in Maggie Valley that I always stay at.  It's old but clean and
comfortable, inexpensive, and more importantly the owners are resident and
like motorcyclists.  They will even hook up a hose and give you old towels
to wash your bike.  I'll be staying there during the rally.  Access to the
Blue Ridge is 1/2 mile away and there are good resturants and other
amenities a mile or two down the road. You'll have around 20 miles or so on
the Blue Ridge to get to Pisgah Inn.

There are a number of other older motels in Maggie Valley so finding a room
won't be a problem if you want to wait until you get there.  You're also
less than 20 miles from Cherokee, NC.  They have a number of older motels
as well as national chains, such as Hampton Inn.  Cherokee also has a
casino if you're feeling lucky.  Don't get thirsty though, Cherokee is dry.
 No alcohol allowed.
