I don't have any issues with the mirrors on my RS. I suppose it's all a
matter of taste, and history. Coming off of a Suzuki GSX-F 750, with
aftermarket mirrors, I became accustomed to "object in mirror may be...an
object in mirror". No ability to discern any more detail than that, except
at 4231 rpm where for one brief moment, the view was clear.

Elbows in the view? Jeez, it's just second nature to do the tuck. No
expense, no work, and the bike still looks normal. I spend *much* more time
being concerned with the view to the front.
