Except for the Futura and VFR, you don't have a valid comparison there. The
new Kwakker and the Yamaha are both aimed at the Pan European / ST1100 /
ST1300, i.e. the sport-Tourer market, not the Sport-tourer market. If the
new Kwakker is going to replace the Concours, then the Trophy will suddenly
find itself the oldest beast in its market segment. Of course, the Sprints
could use some upgrades, or at least a simple freshening that simplifies the
afficiando addressing their concerns. So, while it may not be necessary to
fit the suspension of the Daytona, it would be wonderful if they simply
redesigned it so that you COULD fit the Daytona suspension by simply
swapping parts.

No, performance mods aside, the real areas they need to address are
reliability (clutch cables anyone), servicability, their dealer network, and
really nail the daily functionality of these bikes that ARE NOT designed for
the track. Hey, if it isn't designed for the track, then where the blazes
are the bungee points?
