The original tire (2002 RS, mfgr 9/01) came with a "73W" on the sidewall.
The replacement the dealer sold me has a "U".

My logic is that given my riding style (rarely over 75 mph), the tiny size
of the nail that caused the slow leak in the first place, and the fact that
the nail was in the center of the tire (not the sidewall), the worst that
would happen is another slow leak if the patch gave out. Not a blowout
anyway...
