[ST] 42.000 mile service

My ST went in for it's 42,000 mile service today and the shop gave me a
TT600 to play with. Nice handling bike but it needed a little something...
ah yes my ST engine :-)

Far too rev happy for my liking, kept trying to find 7th gear all the time.
Not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal for some. After riding the ST it
felt like one of those mini-moto bikes :-) I did feel a bit like a monkey on
a tricycle.

Any way the ST ended up with a new set of chain & sprockets, 12,000 out of
this set, the water drain hole in the tank had become blocked so that was
cleaned out. Also the from tyre valve right angle bit was replaced under
warranty as strangely this had developed a small leak across it's back. Not
a crack but small pin holes.

Apart from that all routine stuff and set for another 6,000 miles :-)

Talking of service intervals as anyone else noticed that after the 60,000
service the intervals jump to every 10,000 miles?
